Each module requires online study via our mobile app and associated face-to-face practical training during our 10-day practical training. COURSE CONTENT  UNDERSTANDING HUMAN MOVEMENT This first foundation module teaches students the essentials of human movement, muscle mechanics and exercise analysis. By the end of the module students will know their muscles and be able to apply their knowledge to determine what muscles are active in a range of common gym exercises. The Skeletal System The Muscular and Nervous Systems Movement Mechanics Exercise Analysis ONE-ON-ONE AND SMALL GROUP This module is all about advanced program design, one-on-one personal training and small group PT. Students will learn how to teach correct form and technique, how to correct faulty form and improve posture; they will learn about delivering training away from a traditional gym environment as well as in a fitness club, and how to train clients safely and effectively as a serious fitness professional. Health Appraisal and Advanced Program Design One-on-One Training Spotting and Hands-On Stretching Small Group PT Postural Retraining and Corrective Exercise Mobile and Outdoor PT NUTRITION COACH & WEIGHT MANAGEMENT Helping clients lose weight, shape up and feel amazing. This module is all about teaching students the science of nutrition and accelerated fat loss, how to calculate personalised macros and meal plans, coach nutritional change and deliver professional nutrition-based consultations.  Nutrition Science Accelerated Fat Loss, Metabolism and Hormones Body Composition Analysis Nutrition Consultations Nutrition Coaching LIFESTYLE COACHING Motivation and Behaviour Change. This module is all about coaching and supporting lasting behaviour change. Students learn about Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behaviour Theory, The Chimp Paradox and Person-Centred Counselling and how to apply such practical psychology to their role as a modern-day Personal Trainer and Fitness Coach.  Motivation and Goal Setting The Science of Behaviour Change Advanced Client Management Coaching and Advanced Communication Skills Habit-Based Coaching SPORTS TESTING & CONDITIONING Improving performance. This module is about helping students to better condition their more athletic clients.  Fitness Testing Sports Planning and Conditioning Strength, Agility, Power and Speed Training BUSINESS COACH Making money and growing your client-base. This module is all about how best to package what you do as a solution to people’s needs.
